Vera Farmiga, born in New Jersey, entered the world on August 6th 1973.
Throughout her childhood, Vera lived in a Ukrainian-American community.
Vera Farmiga did not know how to speak English until she was 6.
Miss Farmiga attended a Ukrainian Catholic grade school and a American high school.
At a young age, Vera also took up Ukrainian folk dancing.
Vera Farmiga went to Syracuse University’s School of Performing Arts.
Learning how to be a better actress, Vera got her first major gig as Caitlin in the action-packed FOX show, Roar.
After a few plays and minor movie roles, Vera got a major role opposite Meryl Streep in the acclaimed 2004 remake of The Manchurian Candidate.
Vera married Sebastian Roché in 1997. This ended in a divorce in 2005.
Vera Farmiga was in “Never Forever” “The Departed” and “August in New York.”
